By default, Sequelize will output every SQL query to the console. You can change this behaviour by passing logging: false when creating a new Sequelize instance, like so:

const sequelize = new Sequelize('database', 'username', 'password', {

  // disable logging; default: console.log
  logging: false

});

You can also pass whatever function you want to this property, meaning you can use your favourite logging library and only output SQL logs for certain log levels:

const sequelize = new Sequelize('database', 'username', 'password', {

  logging: winston.debug,

});
